Lakeshore – Find and Write Vowel Sounds

This is an interactive way for kids to master reading and writing words with various vowel spellings – while also building fine motor skills. Students use tweezers to search for word tiles… place each tile next to its matching picture on the mat… then write the word on the preprinted lines. This comes with 8 write and wipe activity mats, 40 word tiles, 2 pairs of kid-safe tweezers, plastic pellets and a guide.

This develops skills in isolating and pronouncing initial, medial vowel and final sounds in spoken single-syllable words, and decoding regularly spelled one-syllable words.
Recommended 5-7 years or Kindergarten – 2nd grade.
